I hope that most librarians take a minute to at least browse through American Libraries Direct when it arrives in their email inbox. I know it’s a ridiculously long email newsletter (Google ends up clipping the message!) that tries to appeal to too many different kinds of librarians, but it definitely has it’s moments.

So thank you, American Libraries Direct, for turning me on to the Washington Post article about the Lockheed Martin/NARA Digital Archive fiasco and a FANTASTIC opinion piece on WikiLeaks. I’m feeling better informed already.
